File Requirements

Hard copy originals or digital files. You can also e-mail your files or contact us to upload large files to our server.

We accept files in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PDF, Microsoft Word or Publisher. (Word & Publisher files will have to be rebuilt for printing.)

ISI operates Adobe CS3 on both PC and Mac platforms.

Acceptable image formats include .psd, .jpg, .tif, .gif, .png, and .bmp.

Regardless of whether the image is going to be used be used in print or on the web, provide the largest version of the image and we'll re-size it to look the best (and if necessary, load the quickest).

We cannot print an image downloaded from a website. Images online are typically only 72 dpi and therefore too small to print.

For instance, a 6"x6" image from the web would print at only 1.44"x1.44" in a brochure or ad and 2.16"x2.16" in a newspaper.

ISI cannot reproduce any image without permission from the copyright holder.
We require this form to be on file before we reproduce any image that appears to be by a professional photographer or studio. Read our Copyright Policy for more information.
