The Newest episode of Alleghany Memories featuring Lt. General Thomas Metz.

Imaging Specialists has just finished editing the latest episode of Alleghany Memories for the Historical Society. We are proud to have had a part in this production, shot in the Alleghany Community Television studio.

Elkin native, Lt. General Thomas Metz (US Army RET) has had a long and interesting career- having attended West Point and then stationed in places like Germany, Italy, Korea and Iraq. In fact, in 2004, he was the Commander of the Multinational Corps during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He oversaw the battle for Fallujah and preparations for Iraq’s first free parliamentary election in January of 2005.

US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld speaks to Soldiers from Task Force Olympia in Mosul, Iraq, December 24, 2004. General Metz looks on at left.

Gen. Metz sat down with Sparta Mayor Wes Brinegar for this one hour interview.

ISI researched the General’s stories and added photography and video clips form the department of Defense and many other sources. We generated the backgrounds and animation for the production which was shot with green-screen by Charles Scott of ACTV.
