Shop Local, Strengthen the Economy

Economists agree the best strategy for recovery in a recession is, arguably, buying and selling. Small business isn’t going to be overtly included in the government stimulus package, so we should take it upon ourselves to strive to increase sales of our products and services and to buy – especially from other small businesses.

What works on a national level will work on a local level. If both parties (seller and buyer) are local, both benefit, and eventually we all benefit from a stronger local economy.
